daily.audio is a reading wall for audiophile publications. It has no accounts, no advertising, and no interest in who you are. This page says exactly what it does collect and how to stop it.

What is stored in your browser

Your own settings.The publications you follow and the card order you picked are kept in your browser's local storage. They never leave your device and are never sent to us. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Analytics, only if you allow it. We use Google Analytics to count page views and see which pages get read. It sets two cookies (_ga and _ga_<id>) holding a random identifier, kept for up to two years.

In the UK, the EEA and Switzerland these are set only after you accept. Decline and none are written, and we still receive an anonymous, cookieless count that cannot be tied to you or to a return visit. Elsewhere they are set by default and you can turn them off at any time below.

What we deliberately do not do

• No advertising features.Google Signals, ad personalisation and ad storage are switched off in the site's own code, not merely in a dashboard setting. Your browsing here does not feed ad profiles.
• No selling or sharing. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law. There is nothing to opt out of because we do not do it.
• No tracking pixels in email, and no third-party pixels on the site.
• No cross-site anything. Neither of the two things that count visits here can recognise you on another website, and nothing is combined with data from anywhere else.
• No profiles, no accounts, no fingerprinting.

Email, if you subscribe

The digest is a confirmed opt-in: we store your address and the times you asked, confirmed and unsubscribed, so we can prove the subscription was yours. Mail is delivered by Resend, who process it on our behalf. Every issue carries a one-click unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing is immediate and permanent unless you sign up again.

Who else sees a request

Cloudflare Web Analytics. The site also counts visits and page views through Cloudflare, at their network rather than in your browser. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and does not fingerprint you, so it cannot follow you between sites or recognise you on a later visit — which is why it is not something you are asked to consent to. It tells us which pages are read and how fast they loaded, and nothing about who read them.

The site is served through Cloudflare, which sees the IP address of every request in order to route it and block attacks, and which tells us only the country a visit came from. The server keeps short-lived access logs of the page requested, the response and how long it took. Those logs deliberately exclude request headers and strip subscription tokens from URLs.

Your rights

In the UK and EEA you can ask for a copy of anything we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to it being processed. In California you can ask what has been collected, ask for it to be deleted, and correct it — and we will not treat you differently for asking. In practice the only thing we hold that identifies anyone is a subscriber's email address and its consent history.
