How this site makes money

Short version: almost nothing. daily.audio is one person’s running cost - a server, a domain, and a lot of feeds - plus one affiliate program, disclosed below.

What this site is

A reading surface. Every headline links out to the publication that wrote it; we keep none of their content and charge readers nothing. That stays true regardless of anything below.

What may earn money, and how you’ll know

Retail links.As an Amazon Associate, daily.audio earns from qualifying purchases. Brand pages link to retailer searches; the Amazon links carry this site’s affiliate tag and are marked rel="sponsored" - typically a low single-digit percent of the sale, at no cost to you, attributed by a tag that identifies the site and not the reader. Every other retailer link is a plain courtesy that pays nothing; if that changes for one, it gets the same marking and this paragraph names it.

Sponsor cards. The plan is a small, fixed number of clearly labelled SPONSOR cards - never more than a handful, always visually distinct from the publications, never mixed into their ordering. None are live today.

The newsletter. A single labelled sponsor slot per send, when it exists. None today.

What is never for sale

• The wall’s order. Publications are ordered by whichever mode you pick - the original curated layout, recent activity, or a shuffle. Every mode is editorial mechanics: no one can pay to appear higher in any of them, and no one can pay to keep a competitor lower.
• Brand pages.A brand’s hub shows what publications wrote, verbatim, newest first. Brands cannot pay to add, remove, or reorder coverage.
• Reader data. We run consented, aggregate analytics and sell none of it. Follows live in your browser, not on our servers.
